My goal is to create an “Aha!” moment of understanding.
I have worked as a tutor for more than six years, first through SUNY Ulster and later through this company. As it has continued to grow, I have dedicated myself to education, working as a student teacher in a 3rd-grade classroom, taking numerous courses in both education and child psychology, as well as speaking at the 2023 IPRA conference in Trinidad on representation in education.
Connecting with students and helping them to reach their academic goals is my passion.
My education has been an alternative one, beginning in a vibrant homeschooling group, moving to a small private middle school, and on to the early college program at SUNY Ulster. After graduating with honors, I transferred to Hobart and William Smith Colleges where I am currently a senior with a double major in Psychology and Religious Studies, and a double minor in Education and English.
My educational background gives me a unique outlook on education that allows me to work with each of my students as individuals, guiding them to the productive and organized techniques that will meld best with their learning style.
